The first season of Supernatural was definitely mind boggling. We got to see creatures and beings that we would never have even thought about and we also saw the way it might be if these things did roam around seeking people to take and harm. Perhaps this is the reason the show is so popular.
The young actors of the show, Jared Padelecki and Jensen Ackles, are both wonderful actors with strong roles and play the parts of their characters wonderfully. You may have previously seen Jared Padelecki (Sam) in Gilmore Girls and House of Wax.
Jensen Ackles (Dean) has also been in the film industry prior to the show and has credits in Smallville and Dark Angle. The actors work wonderfully and bring a true feeling of brotherhood to the show.
Their father John is played by Jeffrey Dean Morgan who plays on Grey’s Anatomy.
There are many mystery and sci-fi shows on television but all fans of Supernatural will tell you it is different to all the others. It shows how something could truly happen and people not even know it existed. It shows how things could lurk around in the dark and shows what might give us that twinge when we step outside on a cold dark night. This is all television drama of course, but the show still brings that little bit of mystery and wonder into our homes each night on the CW on Thursday Nights at 9pm.
